Nara Lokesh is the Undisputed Heir to Chandrababu’s Legacy: Atchannaidu

Visakhapatnam: The demand to appoint Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh as Deputy Chief Minister has become a focal point in the state’s political discourse. Addressing the matter, Minister Atchannaidu stated that decisions regarding the Deputy CM post or other key appointments are not made individually but through discussions among the leaders of the three coalition parties. He emphasized that there is no scope for personal opinions in these decisions.

On the occasion of Nara Lokesh’s birthday celebrations, which were held in Visakhapatnam today, Atchannaidu participated as the chief guest. During the event, he commended Lokesh’s contributions to public service, describing his entry into politics as a commitment to serving the people. Highlighting Lokesh’s tenure as the Panchayati Raj Minister, Atchannaidu credited him with constructing 27,000 kilometers of cement roads, installing lights on electric poles, and ensuring access to drinking water through the NTR Sujala Sravanti scheme.

Atchannaidu affirmed that Nara Lokesh remains the undisputed successor to Chandrababu in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He criticized the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) for allegedly targeting TDP leaders and creating obstacles for them. He accused the YSRCP of burdening the state with debts but asserted that the coalition government had successfully restored confidence in Andhra Pradesh within seven months. Additionally, he highlighted the influx of significant investments into the state under the coalition’s governance.
