Minister Nara Lokesh has asked all public representatives and officials to work in coordination to make the `Super GST – Super Savings’ public meeting to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kurnool on the 16th of this month a success.
Ministers Payyavula Keshav, Satyakumar Yadav, Vangalapudi Anita, State Government Chief Secretary Vijayanand, and senior officials of the Chief Minister’s Office Karthikeya Mishra, Piyush Kumar, and Ahmed Babu attended the meeting of the group of ministers on the arrangements for the PM’s state visit.
On the morning of the 16th of this month, PM Modi will reach the helipad set up at Sunnipenta. From there, he will leave for Srisailam by road. Later, he will visit Srisailam Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy and perform pujas. Later, they will leave Srisailam and reach the `Super GST – Super Savings’ public meeting in the Sabha at Nannur Raaga Mayuri Green Hills premises near Kurnool.
Along with PM Modi, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Minister Lokesh will address the meeting held there. After the meeting, PM Modi will reach Orvakal Airport near Kurnool in the evening and leave for Delhi. The group of ministers discussed the large-scale publicity and awareness programs organized across the state on Super GST – Super Savings.
Officials said that so far 98,985 awareness programs have been organized across the state from village level to state level. Awareness programs have been organized in educational institutions, hospitals, business organizations, MSMEs, and farmer centers. Officials said that essay writing, elocution, and painting competitions have been organized for students on Super GST – Super Savings.
They said that 22,500 awareness programs have been organized in hospitals across the state on the benefits of the new GST regime.
Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav said that automobile sales in the state have increased significantly after the implementation of the new GST, and this increase is more than 33 percent. He said that sales in that segment are also promising due to the removal of cess even for luxury cars. The group of ministers has asked the officials to organize Grand GST Shopping Festivals in district centers from 16th to 19th of this month on the occasion of Diwali festival.
