Nara Lokesh Asks officials To provide House sites to 2,000 people more in Mangalagiri constituency

Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has instructed officials to make arrangements to provide permanent house pattas to another 2,000 people residing in various government places for a long time in Mangalagiri constituency in the month of August. He reviewed the development work being undertaken in Mangalagiri with officials at his Undavalli residence.

He said that house pattas worth about Rs. 1,000 crores have been provided to 3,000 people in the past and steps should be taken to provide another 2,000 pattas in August. He ordered plans for the acquisition of land for new TIDCO housing complexes for the homeless poor. He suggested that steps be taken to develop a park at the existing TIDCO complex in Mangalagiri.

Lokesh wanted to take steps to start the ambitious integrated underground drainage, water, gas and power project under MTMC as soon as possible. He instructed officials to take steps to complete the construction of 31 community halls, 26 parks and cemeteries planned to be built with CSR and government funds as soon as possible.

Minister Nara Lokesh has directed that a beautiful park should also be developed in parallel with the construction of the Mahanadu Colony retaining wall to prevent floods. The ambitious reconstruction work of the Nidamarru model undertaken in the state should be completed by September. Lokesh clarified that the master plan of the Mangalagiri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy Temple should be completed quickly and the work should start soon.

Lokesh held a public darbar on the 67th morning at his Undavalli residence. People from all over the state came to Minister Nara Lokesh to share their problems. Vishnu complained that Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy’s follower K. Rajabhaskara Reddy cheated him of Rs 1.77 crore by promising to give him a share in the business.

Representatives of the AP State Housing Corporation Outsourcing Employees Association have appealed to the minister to provide job security through an HR policy or minimum time scale to the 2,400 people who have been working under outsourcing in the state housing corporation for the last 19 years.
