Natural Star Nani’s latest film Hit 3, directed by Shailesh Kolanu, premiered on May 1 and quickly established itself as a global commercial success. Despite receiving some criticism for its comparatively higher levels of violence and bloodshed than Nani’s previous works, the film resonated strongly with audiences, surpassing the ₹100 crore mark at the box office. The film’s robust performance came independent of critical reception, highlighting its wide appeal among viewers.
Addressing the growing anticipation for the film’s digital release, the makers announced that Hit 3 will be available for streaming on Netflix starting May 29, exactly four weeks after its theatrical debut. The film features music composed by Mickey J Meyer and stars Kannada actress Srinidhi Shetty, known for her role in KGF, as the female lead. Produced by Prashanti Tipirneni under the Wall Poster Cinema banner in association with Unanimous Productions, the film continues to garner strong attention.
Nani’s recent streak of successes includes notable hits like Dasara, Hi Nanna, and Saripoda Saturday, solidifying his position as a consistent box office draw. Currently, he is collaborating with director Srikanth Odela on The Paradise, a film described as raw and rustic, following the blockbuster success of Dasara. Additionally, Nani is slated to reunite with director Sujeeth for another forthcoming project.
