Natural Star Nani is ready for the much-awaited release of his next thriller, HIT 3, which is being directed by Sailesh Kolanu. Releasing grandly worldwide on May 1, Nani has been busy promoting the film, attending a set of interviews and media interactions, which have created a huge buzz among his fans and cinephiles alike.
In a recent interview, Nani spoke about a very relevant subject that has been causing a ripple in the movie business recently — movie reviews and criticism. As much as he conceded that reviews were a part of the film-making process, Nani had been perturbed by the manner in which certain critics have been utilizing their space to propagate negativity instead of laying out constructive criticism.
Nani said, “It’s perfectly alright if someone doesn’t relate to a movie — everybody has the right to their opinion. But thinking that everybody else will also have the same opinion and calling a movie a flop on day one is not justified.” He laid stress on letting the people make up their own minds and that box office collection can be evaluated only after a period of some time, normally a week.
He added further, “If the film is good, people will respond. Calling it a disaster before it can establish itself is not the right strategy.”
Nani’s candid and thoughtful perspective has resonated deeply with his fans, leading to widespread praise on social media. His mature stance on fair criticism reflects not just his professionalism as an actor but also his commitment to supporting a healthy and respectful dialogue within the film industry.
With expectations growing day by day for HIT 3, Nani’s observations only served to heap praise upon his increasing stature as both a fine performer and advocate for justice on screen.
