Tollywood actor Nani has opened up about the challenges of navigating negativity on social media, highlighting how public figures face criticism even for positive actions. Speaking on the talk show Jayammu NischayammuRaa, hosted by Jagapathi Babu and streaming on Zee5, Nani noted that misinterpretations and trolling are unavoidable, regardless of how thoughtfully one communicates online.
The actor reflected on the mental toll of constantly considering public perception before posting, saying it can be exhausting to anticipate reactions. He emphasized that while one cannot explain their intentions to everyone, it is important to focus on what feels right personally. Nani also shared his disappointment over his favorite films not receiving national awards, stressing that regrets over unspoken thoughts should not persist for years.
Addressing competition in the film industry, Nani encouraged a supportive perspective, stating that he wishes success for all films releasing alongside his projects. “Only when everyone succeeds can we truly succeed,” he remarked. He also touched upon past controversies, such as the criticism he faced for posting about the exclusion of Jai Bhim from the 2023 National Awards, which sparked debate among fans and critics.
