Nandyal TDP MP Dr Sabari says providing The Fruits of Development To The Chenchus At Their Doorsteps

Nandyal MP and Lok Sabha TDP Deputy Floor Leader Dr. Byreddy Sabari said that  with the courage given to them by visionary leader CM Chandrababu Naidu, they are providing the fruits of development to the Chenchus ,who live far away from society in the forests and away from basic amenities, at their doorsteps.

On Tuesday, Dr. Sabari inaugurated the electricity supply to Siddeswaram, Janalagudem and Balapalathippa Chenchu Gudems of Kothapalli Mandal, which are 120 kilometers away from Nandyal district center, on the banks of the Krishna River in the dense forest of Nallamala, far from basic amenities and have been living in pitch darkness for 45 years.

She advised that Chenchu women should send their children to schools and educate them. She recalled that the first citizen of India, a tribal woman, Draupadi Murmu, became the President because she was well educated. She asked that every Chenchu child should be educated by taking her as an example.

Dr Sabari said that she had sanctioned Rs. 1.50 crore for the power supply of these three Chenchugudems through the central government, and the electricity officials worked hard to install electricity poles and transformers in a short time and provided electricity to the Chenchus.

She assured that she will bring more funds from the central government for the development of all the Chenchu Gudem in the district and develop them. She said that she will work to provide schools, hospitals, internal roads, drinking water facilities, electricity and employment opportunities for the tribals in every Chenchugudem.

Dr Sabari said that she has made a proposal to the central government for sanctioning Ekalavya schools and the schools will start once it is sanctioned. She said that free pucca houses will be built for the Chenchus under the Prime Minister’s Jan Dhan scheme.

MP Sabari along with a team of officials went around Chenchu Gudem and inquired about the problems of women, children and the elderly. Tribal women welcomed our their MP with joy, saying that earlier leaders did not come to their Chenchu Gudems even to ask for votes during elections. But, they felt happy that even after the elections, she is visiting their Gudems.
