Nandyal MP Sabari slams YCP Ex MLA of Encroaching 79 Acres

Nandyala Lok Sabha member and TDP Deputy Floor Leader Dr. Byreddy Sabari made serious allegations that YCP leaders and followers of former MLA Katasari Ramabhupal Reddy were involved in land grabbing. She said that around 79 acres of land has been grabbed in Jagannadha Ghattu area under Kallur Mandal of Panyam Constituency of Nandyal District.

She assured them that she would bring to the notice of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu about former MLA’s irregular land encroachments and will do justice to the victims. She visited Jagannatha Gutta surrounding areas along with victims and inspected the encroached lands.

Sabari lamented that many irregularities had taken place in survey number 139 in the surrounding area of Jagannath Gutta. She alleged that 79 acres of land near Jagannath Gutta embankment has been encroached upon. She said that it is outrageous that the followers of the former MLA occupied even the road leading to Tadakanapally and prevented him from going to Lakshmipuram village.

Sabari alleged that they managed revenue officials and they were given pattas with benami names, even though they did not know who they were. Referring to unimaginable corrupt and irregular practices during the previous regime, she wondered if a government official and a constable even built a farmhouse.

She took severe exception to the allegations of the former Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy, during his recent visit to Nandyal, that the law and order was badly hit in the present government. The MP said that people are aware of how they suffered during the last five years of Jagan’s regime.

She lamented that the former MLA is accused of misappropriating the endowment lands without even leaving ponds.  She asserted that she will not leave till suitable action will be taken against those who cheated so many people.

Sabari said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has promised that justice will be done to all those who suffered during the previous regime and law will take its own action against  those who have committed such encroachments.
