In a major achievement for Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has marked a milestone in his ambitious project to turn Amaravati into a hub of innovation, technology, and jobs. His dream to create a Quantum Valley in the capital city is now taking shape with firm steps.
State government has officially signed partnership agreements with global technology leaders IBM, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) to set up quantum computing operations in Amaravati. The agreements were inked in the presence of CM Naidu, a major step towards establishing Amaravati as a center of emerging technologies.
As part of this partnership, Amaravati will host India’s first-ever Quantum Valley Tech Park, a world-class facility to be established by these top companies. The tech park will be launched on January 1, 2026, a new dawn for Andhra Pradesh in quantum computing and artificial intelligence (AI).
As global industries are shortly going to imbibe AI and quantum technologies, Andhra Pradesh is set to become a hotspot in attracting investment, innovation, and creating tens of thousands of high-skilled jobs. Quantum Valley initiative could also propel the economy of the state as well as put Amaravati in the world’s technology map.
At the same time, infrastructure works are well underway at rapid speed in Amaravati. There are reports indicating that foundation works are virtually complete, with the city now waiting for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ceremoniously inaugurate the second phase of construction. Building companies have deployed their labor and machinery, ensuring that subsequent phases of construction go ahead at a quick pace.
In the coming five to six months, appreciable visible movement is expected to take place all over Amaravati as development gains momentum. This is the turning point of Chandrababu Naidu’s vision for developing the city as a global center for innovation, technology, and emerging industries.
