They clarified that Chaitanya is currently focused on his film Thandel. His first web series, Doota, thrilled audiences, leading to speculation that he would green-light another series due to that success. However, his team has put a stop to those rumors.
Thandel is being directed by Chandu Mondeti and is being made on a pan-India scale. The film is based on various incidents that took place in the village of D. Matsyalesham in the Srikakulam district. It is a love story infused with themes of patriotism, featuring Chaitanya as a fisherman named Raju, with Sai Pallavi as the female lead.
