The Akkineni actor and Chandoo previously collaborated on Premam and Savyasachi, both of which received mixed responses. However, it was their third film Thandel that changed the game completely. The film created massive hype right from the production stage, and it eventually delivered big at the box office, becoming a major milestone in both their careers.
Following the roaring success of Thandel, Naga Chaitanya has already locked his next project with Virupaksha fame Karthik Dandu. While Chaitanya’s upcoming film is confirmed, there’s no official announcement yet about Chandoo Mondeti’s next move. Industry insiders reveal that the director is in discussions with several star actors from both Telugu and Tamil industries — but sources say he’s especially keen to collaborate with Chaitanya again.
There are speculations that Chandoo is already penning a great script specifically for Naga Chaitanya. At the same time, it is said that Chaitanya is planning to dive into his next movie as soon as he finishes the Karthik Dandu project. Among today’s Akkineni heroes, Chaitanya is definitely gaining steam — making wise decisions, giving stable performances, and establishing a great body of work.
