MoUs In The presence of CM Chandrababu To promote Rubber cultivation, Araku Coffee, Tribal products

The Central Rubber Board has signed an MoU with ITDA in the presence of the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for the creation of various infrastructure facilities and expansion of cultivation to promote rubber cultivation in the Rampachodavaram ITDA area. An MoU has been signed with GCC to promote the sale of tribal products and Araku coffee.

The government said that this agreement has been signed to provide marketing for the products made by the local Dwcra women. Another MoU has been signed to set up Araku coffee kiosks in various parts of the state through MEPMA. GCC has also signed an MoU with Hathi Services LLC to sell the products of the Tribal Cooperative Corporation in countries like America.

The government said that this agreement will help GCC to carry out its retail operations in the USA as well. An MoU has been signed between the two organizations to jointly set up retail showrooms in various parts of the country to sell tribal products. Leading corporate giant Tata Consumers has also signed an MoU with GCC to brand and market organic Araku coffee.

A sub-co has signed an MoU for the creation of infrastructure, including a red cherry fruit refining and processing unit in Chintapalli. ITC has signed an MoU with ITDA Paderu to expand its coffee plantation by an additional 4,000 acres in addition to the existing area. ITC is already cultivating coffee in 10,025 acres in collaboration with a farmers’ cooperative.

The Coffee Board has also signed an MoU to expand coffee cultivation in tribal areas, produce quality coffee crops, and implement sustainable practices in cultivation. Frontier Marketing and Easy Mart have signed an MoU with the government to provide marketing in rural areas for products made by tribal women.

Equip has signed an MoU with ITDA to link turmeric production, marketing of various turmeric products, set up processing units and create other infrastructure. ISB has signed another key MoU to create awareness so that seasonal forest products can be sold through tribal women’s groups. 

OYO Homes and Homi Huts have signed an MoU to set up home stays in tribal areas as part of the development of infrastructure in the tourism sector. Mantra Society has signed an MoU to instill moral values among tribal students. MoUs have also been signed on natural farming, marketing facilities, livelihood and other issues. AP Tourism Forum has come forward to improve employment opportunities through the development of tribal tourism circuit.
