So far, the fight has been going on between the famous Tollywood-based Manchu family. The clash between veteran actor Mohan Babu and his son, Manchu Manoj, who is also an actor, is on. Both of them have raised allegations and moved legally against each other.
Recently, Mohan Babu lodged a complaint with the Ranga Reddy District Collector seeking protection under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act. His representative alleged that Manoj entered his residence at JalPally, Balapur Mandal, without permission and demanded a share of the family property from his son. Mohan Babu called for the eviction of everyone from his house and the return of his property. He also sought that his assets be safeguarded under the Senior Citizens Act.
In response to the complaint, the Ranga Reddy Additional Collector issued notices to both Mohan Babu and Manoj. The matter was taken up for discussion, and both parties were asked to appear for a hearing scheduled for February 3.
On the day of the hearing, both Mohan Babu and Manoj arrived separately at the Integrated District Office Complex in Kongara Kalan, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal. Their separate arrivals became the talk of the town and quickly went viral on social media, intensifying the already publicized family dispute.
During the hearing, Mohan Babu addressed the Collector, asserting that Manoj had unlawfully taken possession of his self-acquired property. He emphasized that the assets were his personal property, with no one else having any claim over them. Mohan Babu demanded that Manoj vacate the property and return it immediately.
Sources indicate that the District Collector has already obtained a police report regarding the case. As the family conflict grows, it remains to be seen how this high-profile legal battle will resolve in the coming days.
