Modi, Naidu, Pawan And Others Grieve Ramoji Rao’s Death

Business tycoon Ramoji Rao, who is revered as one of the esteemed media icons of the country, breathed his last on Saturday morning in Hyderabad due to age related health issues. His sudden demise has left an unfilled vaccum in journalism and media. He will remain an exemplary for his contribution to Telugu cinema and media world. 

As soon as news about Ramoji Rao’s death came out, condolences poured in from all quarters across the country. Among those who expressed grief on his departure are Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Andhra Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi, former Vice president Venkayya Naidu and many others. 

Prime Minister Modi took to X and expressed his deep condolences to Ramoji Rao. He said ” The passing away of Shri Ramoji Rao Garu is extremely saddening. He was a visionary who revolutionized Indian media. His rich contributions have left an indelible mark on journalism and the world of films. Through his noteworthy efforts, he set new standards for innovation and excellence in the media and entertainment world. Ramoji Rao Garu was extremely passionate about India’s development. I am fortunate to have got several opportunities to interact with him and benefit from his wisdom. Condolences to his family, friends and countless admirers during this difficult time. Om Shanti” 

Chandra Babu Naidu is bereaved with the news his death death. He said Ramoji is a shining light of Telugu land and his forthrightness brought them closer. He hailed Ramoji’s rise from being a commoner to a tycoon with hard work and integrity. 

Revanth Reddy expressed sorrow over Ramoji’s death and asked the officials to perform last rites with complete state honours. Though Revanth was in Delhi, he directed the authorities to look after the arrangements for funeral rites. 

Former CM KCR condoled the death of Ramoji Rao and extended emotional support to his family. 

Janasena president and MLA Pawan Kalyan called Ramoji Rao a multifaceted visionary who proved that words have social responsibility. Pawan said he was shocked after hearing the demise of Ramoji Rao and lauded his contributions to journalism and Telugu media. He also appreciated Ramoji’s unwavering fighting spirit in various fields.
