MLC Kavitha says Merger of BRS with BJP Like Admitting Liquor crime

Once again expressing her strong opposition for any move of BRS merger with BJP, MLC Kavitha said it would be like admitting to the liquor crime. She said that she opposed the proposal to join the BJP when she was in jail. In such a scenario, she made it clear that her only option was not to join the BJP that imprisoned her.

The MLC said that she was upset when the proposal of merger was mentioned when she was in jail. She cautioned BRS leaders that the parties that have allied with the Bharatiya Janata Party have no future. Making it clear that merger of the party with BJP is unnecessary, Kavitha recalled that no party that has joined with BJP has survived.

That is why, Kavitha said that she made it clear to the party leadership through a letter not to merge. MLC Kavitha, who is touring Mancherial district, held a press conference with the media and made it clear that she was committed to the letter she had written. She said that she had written a letter expressing her concerns about the developments taking place in the party.

She said that she had written the letter for the betterment of the party and explained to party chief KCR through the letter what the common workers wanted. She said that she had worked hard for the development and strengthening of the party from the beginning, but experienced a lot of suffering. She said that she had worked sincerely for the party from the beginning of the movement to the time when BRS came to power.

However, Kavitha said that some things had bothered her. She said that she had tried to meet and tell the leader. Even though she had the opportunity to meet her father she could not meet him due to the letter leak. Sge once again said that he had written letters in the past too, but she deplored this time the letter was leaked as per a plan targeting her.

Kavitha made it clear that it should be exposed who leaked the letter. She said that she had no agenda of her own. She expressed hope that he would not be expelled from the party. Referring to her brother KTR’s advice, she said that those who said that they should speak internally should think about how her letter was leaked. Moreover, she said that all this happened internally.
