Telangana politics witnessed fresh turbulence as MLC Kavitha reacted strongly to the leak of a letter she wrote to BRS chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR). Kavitha compared KCR to a deity but claimed that “demons” surround him within the party, hinting at internal sabotage. She confirmed writing the letter about two weeks ago, stating it solely reflected party workers’ concerns without any personal agenda.
Expressing deep anger over the unauthorized leak, Kavitha alleged a deliberate conspiracy to destabilize the party. She questioned the implications of the letter becoming public and highlighted the need to address the condition of grassroots members. Kavitha also expressed suspicion that covert forces inside the party were responsible for leaking the letter.
Despite the controversy, Kavitha reaffirmed her loyalty to KCR’s leadership and expressed confidence in working under him. However, she stressed that the party must correct its internal flaws to ensure a stronger future. Recently returned from a US trip, Kavitha was warmly welcomed by Telangana Jagruthi activists in Hyderabad.
