The recently launched Mirai has turned out to be a blockbuster, attracting viewers with its story. The film features Teja Sajja and Ritika Nayak in the main cast, directed by Kartik Gattamaneni and produced on a huge scale by TG Vishwa Prasad. The film has grossed more than ₹100 crore since it was released in theaters on September 12, with theaters full throughout Telugu states, particularly during Dussehra holidays.
In a surprising and considerate gesture, the Mirai crew has announced it will suspend all shows on September 25 in order to make way for the grand premiere of Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated movie OG. Mirai screenings will resume from September 26, so viewers can enjoy both the movies without interference.
This move on the part of the Mirai creators has been much welcomed, pointing to the cooperative ethos of the Telugu movie industry and indicating support for another big release. Both fans and those in the trade have welcomed this step, which is reflective of professionalism as well as camaraderie among filmmakers.
