Minister Savitha Furious That Jagan Failed Even Develop His own District

Stating that problems are visible everywhere due to mistakes of the previous government in the state of Andhra Pradesh today, BC Welfare Minister Savitha lamented that the former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy had not even developed his own district during his five-year term and there would be no such a leader anywhere.

During her tour in Kadapa, she expressed her anger that the state was corrupted during the five years of rule and the state could not see development for five years due to the Jagan government’s behavior. The Minister said that the development of Kadapa district, which was not done during the YSRCP government, is being demonstrated today.

Referring to the severe drinking water problem prevailing in the district, Savitha assured that a review will be conducted and resolved. She said that every water project that the previous government neglected is now being undertaken. She deplored that even Jaganmohan Reddy’s own constituency Pulivendula is in a dire situation of water shortage and the minister assured that it will be resolved now.

Minister Savita said that land issues were discussed a lot in the DRC review meeting. She warned that no one involved in land grabbing will be spared. She said that a task force will be formed and strict action will be taken against land grabbing. She said that schools have also been occupied and water plants have been built, and they will be removed.

She expressed confidence that all the issues were discussed in the district review meeting and that all the development programs promised in the election will be implemented. She said that the MLAs of the district have brought some issues to her attention and that they are being resolved in stages.

The minister said that the state is taking new steps in the development path under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. She expressed hope that the Polavaram project will be completed with the cooperation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
