Taking severe exception to the comments of the former minister R K Roja that the coalition government is not Super Six but Super Cheats in the budget presented in the AP Assembly, BC Welfare Minister Savita reminded her that it is not Jabardasth program to talk about the budget. She lamented that Roja’s comments are ridiculous.
Savita made it clear that her government will implement Super Six without fail. If they come to power, didn’t YS Jagan cheat people in the past by saying that they would implement the mega job calendar every year?, she asked Roja. She was furious that YS Jagan had deceived people in the past by saying that he would vote for the mega job calendar.
She recalled that during the previous YSRCP regime, the Respectable Assembly house was turned into a `Kaurava Sabha’. She explained that such an assembly has been changed so that the whole family can watch it together today.
She said that there are many problems in Pulivendula and there are not even drinking water facilities there. However, she said that YS Jagan did not intend to come to the assembly as the MLA of that constituency and raise the problems there in the assembly.
Even if YS Jagan ignores these problems, Minister Savita made it clear that she will solve all the problems in Pulivendula as the district in-charge minister. She expressed happiness over the huge allocations made for the weaker sections in the budget presented in the assembly. On this occasion, she thanked CM Chandrababu Naidu.
She said that she is very happy that Rs. 39,000 crores have been allocated in the budget for the welfare of BCs. She announced on this occasion that DSC notification will be issued for 16,347 posts soon. She explained that BC study circles are being set up at the district headquarters from November 16th under the auspices of the BC Welfare Department.
Also, she said that they are going to give a stipend of Rs. 1500. Similarly, they are also starting online coaching centers like never before in history. She said that any number of people can take this coaching through the app and this online coaching will be available only to BC students. She also said that this opportunity will be available to EWS students.
However, Savita said that stipend will be provided only to those who have at least 75 percent attendance. On this occasion, Minister Savita revealed that the Jayanti celebrations of the revered deity of the Badugu Balahana community, Bhakta Kanakadas, will be celebrated as a state festival on November 18th.
