Minister Ponnam says BJP Ministers, MPs will Be Held Responsible If Any project Blocked By The center

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar made it clear that if any project does not get support or blocked from the Center, union ministers from the state Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay and Telangana BJP MPs will be held responsible. So far, he said that many projects related to improving employment opportunities in Metro extension, MUSI, ORR beyond Triple R, Hyderabad drinking water problem and other programs have been submitted to the Center.

But, he deplored that the Narendra Modi-led government is not responsible for any project. He said that the Center should fulfill the promises related to the bifurcation of Telangana state and the BJP in the state will be taken into task by the people if these projects are not cleared by the center.

Prabhakar demanded that the BJP ministers at the Center should bring funds to the state in accordance with the interests and aspirations of Telangana people. He warned that if funds are not received from the Center, the people of Telangana will consider BJP Union Ministers Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay as incompetent.

He alleged that BRS and BJP are not different, and that the leaders of both parties are acting like wrestlers in the streets but maintaining friendship in Delhi. Ponnam said that Telangana is a newly formed state, though it has been contributing a huge share in GST collections, no funds have been given to the state.

The Minister hailed that the caste census held in Telangana has become a role model for the country, and that a law will be made in the legislative assembly in the first week on the caste survey and a resolution will be sent to the center to provide political, educational, job and employment opportunities.

When the BJP made changes in the schedule regarding EBC, now he demanded changes for BC reservations too. He said that it is not good for BJP leaders to do politics in the name of religion, and that they are making false propaganda on the BC caste census and inciting religious animosity.

Prabhakar recalled that in Tamil Nadu though there are severe political differences,  everyone will be on the same page regarding the development interests of the people. He urged the BJP at the center to come together with the ruling Congress party and play a big brother role in matters related to Telangana. He asked Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay to try to allocate funds from the center. Otherwise, Ponnam warned that the Telangana Congress leadership would not sit idly.
