Minister Narayana says Houses To journalists soon

Minister for Municipal Administration Dr P. Narayana said that soon houses will be allotted to journalists who are the bridge between the government and the people. The minister made the announcement at a program organized by the Telugu Journalist Forum in Vijayawada.

He said that the government is responsible for the welfare of the people and the welfare of journalists who expose corruption and irregularities. He said that even though the right to speak was taken away during the previous government, the media worked very bravely to solve the problems of the people.

Minister Narayana commented that if the media had not exposed the anarchy of the previous government, the coalition government would not have got this level of majority. He said that the cooperation of the media is very necessary in providing complete transparent governance to the people in the state.

He said that along with providing better medical services to journalists, accreditation will also be granted to everyone who is eligible. Stating that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has paid special attention to the problems of journalists, he said that their welfare is his goal.

Dr Narayana said that the media is the ears and eyes of any government. He said that the Amaravati works will start from next January. He deplored that the previous government did not care about the Amaravati works and the time limit for the tenders given at that time had expired. That is why they have been canceled, he added.

He said that tenders will be called again with the latest cabinet approval. This process will be completed between November 15 and December 15 and the work will resume from January.

He said that the government needs to have complete information about the conditions of the people to implement welfare and development schemes in the state. He said that only if the economic condition of women is good, the economic condition of the state will be good.
