Minister Kollu Ravindra warned that former YCP Minister Perni Nani will have sleepless nights. He was angry that he is now talking about ethics after eating the rice of the poor. Isn’t it his responsibility to be careful if there is a warehouse in his wife’s name?, he asked and lamented that it is shameful to use her name to gain sympathy.
Ravindra alleged that Perni Nani is a thief who will not return the money if he steals and returns it, and warned that he will show the dots to his benami. He accused Perni Nani of being the mastermind behind this rice scam.
He warned that even if Perni Nani does penance with his head down, he will not be able to escape this case. The Minister cautioned that the ED will also investigate the irregularities. Isn’t it true that people’s lands near the port are being snatched?, he asked.
Meanwhile, Minister Nadendla Manohar clarified that they have no political affiliation enmity against Perni Nani and the NDA coalition government has no business conspiring. He said that the investigation revealed that 378 metric tons of ration rice was diverted from the godowns of the family of Perni Nani.
He reminded that Nani had written three times that a mistake had been made and that a penalty of Rs 1.70 crore had been paid due to the mistake. Does Nani not know that a case will be registered in the name of the person whose name is the warehouse?, he asked.
Minister Manohar said that he has instructed the district administration to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and warned that strict action would be taken.
On the otherhand, TDP leader and former MP JC Prabhakar Reddy has advised that Perni Nani should surrender in the ration rice matter. He said that when he was in power, many cases were filed against his family and caused trouble. He asked whether the family of Nani remembered the name of the person who robbed the poor with rice?
He said that the name of the ration rice godown is in the name of Nani’s wife Jayasudha. He demanded that the family of Perni Nani, who robbed in the name of ration rice be arrested immediately.
