Minister for Tourism and Cinematography Kandula Durgesh said that the Nandi Awards will be restored in AP soon. As part of the promotion of the film ‘Bhairavam’ film, directed by Vijay Kanakamedala and starring Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, Manchu Manoj and Nara Rohit in the lead roles, the trailer release program was held at the Eluru Indoor Stadium on Sunday evening.
Participating in the programme, the Minister revealed that efforts are being made to bring a film policy as part of the development of infrastructure in the state. He said that necessary plans are being made for the development of cinema in the state under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan Kalyan.
He said that shootings are going on in Andhra Pradesh, which has natural beauties, but infrastructure is not being developed. He said that the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister are taking initiatives to bring a film policy to provide support for the construction of studios, dubbing and re-recording facilities.
Kandula Durgesh said that in the coming days, efforts are being made to develop Visakhapatnam in line with the development of the film industry. He said that the Nandi Awards have been neglected for a long time, and they will be revived and the awards will be presented very soon.
He said that a meeting will be held with the film industry leaders soon and appropriate steps will be taken. Similarly, Minister Durgesh hoped that the movie ‘Bhairavam’ will be a super hit. The program was attended by the protagonists Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, Manchu Manoj, Nara Rohit, producer Radha Mohan, co-producer Sridhar, heroines Atithi Shankar, Nandini and actor Ajay.
Eluru MP Putta Mahesh Kumar, MLAs Badeti Chanti, Chintamaneni Prabhakar, head of Ambika organizations, producer Ambika Krishna and others were also present. The trailer was released in a pleasant atmosphere. There was a buzz as such a big trailer program was organized in Eluru for the first time.
