Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu accused that Pulivendula MLA Jaganmohan Reddy as the epitome of a predatory regime that has looted public wealth and is against the development of the state. He said that the coalition government is coming forward to establish medical colleges under the PPP (Public–Private Partnership) model to further improve the health services of the people and expand medical education opportunities.
He said that this PPP model is a good idea that will benefit the people and contribute to the development of the medical sector. However, the minister criticized that it is regrettable that Jagan is opposing this policy that is good for the health of the people. Jagan opposes any program that benefits the people.
He asserted that the PPP model is a successful model worldwide. He said that if private investment comes along with government funds, people will get better medical facilities. He strongly criticized Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Narsipatnam tour as a complete political drama and an attempt to mislead the people.
“Jagan Reddy’s tours will not solve the problems of the people, there will only be drama. On the one hand, Jagan is coming to Narsipatnam, on the other hand, YSRCP party leaders are leaving the party”, he said. He said that 1000 other YSRCP party members, including the former YSRCP chairperson and vice chairman, have joined the TDP.
He deplored that crores of rupees have been wasted in the name of medical colleges during Jagan’s rule, but the result is zero. He said that Jagan should wake up and understand the interests of the people. The minister said that the current coalition government is taking every step thoughtfully for the health, education and welfare of the people.
He said that the government is moving forward with the determination to provide advanced medical services in rural areas through the PPP model. Isn’t it true that the coalition government will face a shortage of funds due to Jagan’s regime of destruction? If the small amount of funds available is spent on medical colleges, will there be cuts to welfare schemes? Will there be a situation where salaries are not paid to employees? Will there be a situation where roads cannot be built? Is Jagan conspiring to harm us in this was?, the Minister asked.
