When Meenakshii Chaudhary replaced Pooja Hegde in Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, many expected that director Trivikram Srinivas might come up with a career-defining character for her. Unfortunately, the unfair treatment meted out by Trivikram’s careless writing does a great disservice to Meenakshii’s abilities. There is no doubt that Guntur Kaaram is a forgettable film in her filmography.
Despite the disappointing result of Guntur Kaaram, Meenakshii Chaudhary continues to charm her way into South Cinema with plum offers. She has been roped in for a pivotal role in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus Vishwambhara. She is also the forerunner to play the female lead in Venkatesh – Anil Ravipudi’s next film.
Besides these two big-ticket projects, Meenakshii has already signed films like Matka with Varun Tej and Lucky Baskhar with Dulquer Salmaan. She has strong author-backed roles in these two films. Also, she has Thalapathy Vijay’s next outing Goat.
Apart from these confirmed projects, Meenakshii is in talks for a few crazy upcoming films as well. So, she is in top gear right now. If a couple of these films emerge as big hits, Meenakshii will stand a big chance to emerge as the next big thing in Tollywood and Kollywood.
