Meenakshi Natarajan warns Congress Leaders Internal party Matters should Not Be Discussed outside

Telangana Congress affairs in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan made it clear that internal party matters should be discussed in the meetings only and not outside Gandhi Bhavan. She warned that disciplinary action will be taken if the party line is crossed. She warned the leaders that there is no point in remaining silent even if someone quarrels or makes public comments about the party.

She also said that ministers should also discuss their mistakes in the meetings and should not tarnish the reputation of the party and the government by holding special meetings and posting them on social media. She has started parliamentary constituency wise review meetings, with Medak Parliament on Tuesday afternoon, with key party leaders of the respective constituencies.

On this occasion, she reviewed the party’s status and results in the recent parliamentary elections. Speaking on this occasion, Meenakshi Natarajan said that new people who have joined the party will be included. She warned that if problems arise due to in-charges, they will be removed from their posts. She said that the constituency in-charges should behave responsibly and involve everyone.

She suggested that the constituency MLAs should always be available to the people. She assured that justice will be done to all those who worked hard for the party’s victory. Kata Srinivas Goud complained to Meenakshi Natarajan that MLA Mahipal Reddy was troubling them in Patancheru. He expressed his concern that a committee was formed to resolve the problem, but the report has not been submitted so far.

Several leaders complained to Meenakshi Natarajan that the authorities were not listening to them. They also expressed their concerns before her that BRS leaders were wielding power. Several leaders appealed to her that if they give at least Indiramma’s house to those they mentioned, they will be respected.

As part of this review, Meenakshi Natarajan discussed the development and welfare schemes implemented in the parliamentary constituency during the 14 months of the Congress government’s rule. She also tried to gather their views on historic decisions such as the caste census survey and SC classification. She inquired about the situation at the field level.

She also discussed the organizational structure of the party and the formation of committees. Meenakshi gave directions to the leaders on the strategies to be followed by the party in the upcoming local body elections. 

She advised them to move forward unitedly without any lack of coordination between the old and new leaders in the party. She suggested that development and welfare schemes should be taken to the people at the field level.

Meanwhile,it seems that the Congress high command has instructed the PCC to fill all the nominated posts. It is learnt that the PCC has been instructed to take steps to appease the disgruntled cadre in the wake of the upcoming local elections. It is in this context that it is learnt that the PCC has decided to fill all nominated posts by the 20th of this month.
