Mangalagiri Court Grants Two-Day Police Custody for Former YSRCP MP Nandigam Suresh

Former YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MP Nandigam Suresh has been remanded to two days of police custody by the Mangalagiri Court. Suresh was recently arrested by the Mangalagiri police in connection with the attack on the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) headquarters.

The court has permitted police to interrogate Suresh while he remains in Guntur district jail. This decision comes as part of the ongoing investigation into the attack on the TDP office.

Alongside Suresh, Vijayawada Deputy Mayor Shailaja’s husband, Srinivas Reddy, was also arrested in relation to the same case. Additionally, Nandigam Suresh faces allegations involving the collision of boats with the gates of Prakasam Barrage, further intensifying the legal scrutiny surrounding him.
