Two senior TDP leaders, who failed to get party seats in the assembly elections due to allocation of their constituencies to Jana Sena in seats adjustment, have joined Jana Sena on Monday, paving the way for contesting in the polls as Jana Sena candidates.
Former Deputy Speaker Mandali Buddha Prasad and Palakonda Constituency’s TDP leader Nimmaka Jaya Krishna joined the Janasena Party in the presence of party chief Pawan Kalyan, in Pithapuram. Interestingly, both of them claimed that they are joining Jana Sena with the support of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu.
Both of them stressed the need to work together with three parties – TDP, Jana Sena and TDP, who are part of NDA, to put an end to the regime of anarchy that prevailed in Andhra Pradesh during the last five years.
They deplored that YS Jagan’s regime witnessed robbery of thousands of crores of public money. Now, it is certain that Buddha Prasad from Avanigadda and Jaya Krishna from Palakonda will contest as Jana Sena candidates.
Pawan Kalyan expressed confidence that 2024 polls will witness a great victory for three alliance partners. He urged that all sections of people should support them so as to bring back the state in the path of development.
Meanwhile, many prominent people from Pithapuram constituency also joined the Jana Sena party. Lawyers, prominent doctors, MPTCs of YCP, sarpanchs and many prominent people were among those who joined the party. More than 100 people were invited to the party wearing Pawan’s scarf.
Speaking on this occasion, Pawan Kalyan thanked everyone who came to understand and strengthen the Jana Sena party. “We cordially invite everyone to the Jana Sena family. Despite the hope of meeting all the people of Pithapuram constituency, we are facing difficulties due to some security reasons”, he said.
He alleged that mercenary gangs are coming with thin blades and are attacking Jana Sena supporters by mixing with the people. He asked his supporters to be cautious against such criminal elements.
