With the film set to hit theatres on June 27, Vishnu took to social media from Mumbai to share his feelings about the project, calling it one of the most significant works of his career.
In a heartfelt post, the actor wrote, “Kannappa is coming to you this Friday, June 27. The world will witness the story of a great devotee of Lord Shiva.” Emphasising the personal attachment he has to the project, he added, “My heart, my soul – my baby – is finally going to meet the world.”
Kannappa, produced on a large scale under Vishnu’s home banner, narrates the legendary tale of Lord Shiva’s ardent devotee Kannappa. The project has been in the making for several years and is being promoted as a passion project for Manchu Vishnu.
