Manchu Vishnu Announces Release Date For Kannappa, Targets Summer Release

Manchu Vishnu’s magnum opus ‘Kannappa’ gets an official release date. The actor announced the highly anticipated release date today with a new poster.

On Monday, making it an official announcement, Manchu Vishnu shared the most awaited update, revealing the film’s release date. He shared a new poster on his social media platforms; the poster showcases Lord Shiva’s trishul, highlighting the release date announcement. The film is slated for a grand worldwide release in April 2025.

Earlier, it was planned to hit theaters in December, but it has shifted to avoid clashing with Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated sequel ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ and postponed for a summer release. Now, the film will have a clash with Prabhas’ upcoming horror comedy ‘The Raja Saab.’

Ever since the announcement made on Manchu Vishnu’s dream project, ‘Kannappa,’ a mythological drama based on the true story with special cameos by many renowned superstars, garnered attention, thanks to its stellar cast.

Speaking more about the film, this mythological epic is helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and backed by actor-producer Dr. Mohan Babu through 24 Frames Factory and Ava Entertainments. The film boasts a star-studded cast of Manchu Vishnu, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, Mohan Babu, Sarath Kumar, Mohan Lal, Shiva Rajkumar, Brahmanandam, Preity Mukundan, Madhubala, Brahmaji, and many others in pivotal roles.

Mani Sharma and Stephan Devassy are set to enhance the cinematic experience with their music, with captivating cinematography by Sheldon Chau.
