Veteran actor Manchu Mohan Babu has been hospitalized after his health took a sharp decline amid a tense family dispute. Tensions between Mohan Babu and his younger son, Manchu Manoj, erupted, leading to an intense atmosphere at their Jalapalli residence. This emotional turmoil significantly impacted Mohan Babu’s health, prompting his elder son, Manchu Vishnu, to rush him to Continental Hospital in Gachibowli for medical attention.
Things got worse for Manchu Manoj on Tuesday when he went to the Pahadi Sharif police station and filed a complaint that unidentified persons assaulted him and his wife, Mounika, and issued death threats. Countering this, Mohan Babu lodged a complaint with the Rachakonda Police Commissioner saying that his son was issuing death threats against him. As such, cases have been booked against Manchu Manoj and his wife, bhuma mounika.
The drama unfolding within the family drew much media attention, and as reporters started gathering outside Mohan Babu’s residence, the situation took a turn for the worse. According to reports, in a fit of rage, Mohan Babu is said to have physically attacked a media person, snatching the microphone and injuring the journalist. The police have ordered the seizure of firearms from both Mohan Babu and his son Vishnu after this scuffle. Father and son have gun licenses issued by Jubilee Hills, so the authorities are supposed to take their arms from their custody immediately.
