Actor Manchu Manoj has levelled serious accusations against his elder brother, actor-producer Manchu Vishnu, reigniting the long-standing family feud that had seemingly cooled off in recent months.
The trouble came to the fore after Manoj’s driver filed a police complaint at Narsingi Police Station that his car was stolen from his home in Jalpally on April 1st night. As per the complaint, some unknown people drove the vehicle away with the security personnel opening the gates without suspicion taking one of them for Manoj.
However, the incident appears to be far from a random car theft. Manoj claims this was a deliberate act led by his brother Vishnu. In a shocking statement, Manoj alleged that Vishnu, along with nearly 150 men, forcefully entered his home, vandalised property, and took away multiple vehicles belonging to him and his wife. He further claimed that one of the stolen vehicles was tracked to Vishnu’s house and was later moved to Madhapur when the police initiated recovery.
Tensions escalated when Manoj attempted to reach out to his father, veteran actor Mohan Babu, to discuss the matter privately but reportedly couldn’t get a response. In a bold move, Manoj arrived at Mohan Babu’s residence in Jalpally and staged a sit-in protest at the gate after being denied entry. The scene quickly drew public attention as visuals of Manoj protesting outside his father’s home went viral across social media platforms.
Police officials, alerted by the growing tension, arrived at the spot and deployed security around the premises to prevent any disturbances. Sources say Manoj’s driver, who has been living and working with the actor for the past four months, witnessed the incident unfold while Manoj was away in Jaipur celebrating his daughter’s birthday on April 1st.
