Tollywood is abuzz with reports of an unexpected box-office duel between Manchu brothers! Manchu Vishnu and Manchu Manoj, who have hogged the limelight because of their differences in their personal life, may now duel at the box office. Both Kannappa and Bhairava are said to hit screens on April 25, generating curiosity among the audience.
Vishnu’s highly awaited pan-India spectacle Kannappa is in full pre-release mode. The producers are planning a grand pre-release event, and none other than Prabhas is likely to grace the occasion along with the film’s star-studded cast. Srikalahasti is being contemplated as the venue, and the official date of the event will be revealed soon. With a powerhouse cast comprising Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Sarath Kumar, and Mohan Babu, the buzz around Kannappa is mounting further.
Meanwhile, Bhairava, starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Manchu Manoj, and Nara Rohit, is also eyeing the same release date. Originally planned for an earlier launch, the film faced delays but is now locked in for April 25. Directed by Naandhi fame Vijay Kanakamedala, Bhairava is the Telugu remake of the Tamil blockbuster Garudan. The film also marks the straight Tollywood debut of Aditi Shankar, daughter of legendary filmmaker Shankar. With two songs already winning audiences over, anticipation for Bhairava is steadily rising.
If the two movies release on the same date, then it will be a fierce battle at the box office. Whereas Kannappa benefits from huge anticipation owing to the large-scale production and star-cast, everyone’s question remains whether Bhairava will prove equal to it. But Bhairava producers are not disappointed and assert that the movie is filled with great commercial content which will appeal both to mass as well as class audiences.
Will the Manchu brothers clash at the box office, or will one of them shift dates? Either way, April 25 is shaping up to be an electrifying day for Telugu cinema!
