Mahesh Kumar Goud confident Telangana will Get BC CM only From Congress

Stating that BC will definitely become the Chief Minister in Telangana, Pradesh Congress Committee President B. Mahesh Kumar Goud expressed confidence that the CM will be from his party only. When asked about Revanth Reddy’s claim that he was the CM for ten years, he said that there was nothing wrong in saying so. He said that he would have said so to instill confidence in the people and party ranks in the government and to further motivate the party machinery.

Mahesh Kumar Goud has made a strong allegation that senior BJP leader and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy has snatched posts from two BC leaders. Mahesh Kumar Goud alleged that Kishan Reddy snatched the state president’s post from BC leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar and the Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat from Bandaru Dattatreya as part of the BJP- BRS agreement.

He said that Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay and MP Etala Rajender are unable to speak due to fear of Union Minister Kishan Reddy. He deplored that the silence of Bandi Sanjay, MPs Dharmapuri Arvind and Etala Rajender is a loss for BCs. He criticized that the BJP, which supported the BC Bill when the state government introduced it in the assembly, is now talking differently.

Goud accused the state BJP of obstructing the Centre from passing the BC Bill. He said that no one needs to doubt their honesty regarding the BC Bill. He said that a survey is being conducted on the selection of Congress candidate for the upcoming by-election to Jubilee Hills constituency.

He said that the candidate will be selected as soon as the notification is received. He criticized BRS chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for breaking the tradition of not contesting if a sitting MLA dies. He confidently said that his party will easily win the majority of seats in the local body elections.

He said that the Jan Hita Padayatra they have undertaken is similar to the Bharat Jodo Yatra previously organized by AICC senior leader Rahul Gandhi. He explained that the Jan Hita Yatra was given a short break to participate in the Maha Dharna organized in Delhi for BC reservations, and will be resumed from the 23rd of this month.
