Mahabharat Will Never Disappoint: Aamir Khan

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who is set to return to theatres with Sitare Zameen Par, has once again spoken about his long-standing dream of adapting the Mahabharat for the screen. Participating in a recent event, the actor called the project a “difficult dream” and revealed his deep admiration for the epic.

“Mahabharat is my dream project. I wish to bring it to life on screen, but it’s a very challenging endeavour,” Khan said. “The Mahabharat will never disappoint you — but you can disappoint the Mahabharat. That’s why I’m moving forward with great caution.”

Khan also shared his interest in playing the role of Lord Krishna, calling it the character that influenced him the most. “I truly love the role of Krishna and would like to portray it. However, this is a massive project, and I’m not ready to reveal further details at this point,” he added.

While there is no official confirmation on the timeline or production details, Khan’s remarks have once again sparked interest in what is expected to be one of the most ambitious projects in Indian cinema.
