Mad Square Set for Netflix Premiere on April 25

Mad Square, the sequel to the successful youth comedy Mad, is set to premiere on Netflix on April 25. The film, which released theatrically in March and received a positive response, will stream in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Directed as a continuation of the original, Mad Square features Narné Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, and Ram Nithin reprising their roles, delivering strong comedic performances. The film centers around a wedding, a vacation gone wrong, and a crime that entangles the protagonists in unexpected trouble.

The narrative follows Damodar (Sangeeth Shobhan), Ashok Kumar (Narné Nithin), and Manoj (Ram Nithin) after they complete their engineering studies and return to their hometowns. Their friend Laddu (Vishnu Oi), without informing anyone, prepares to get married. Upon discovering this, Damodar arrives at the wedding with Ashok and Manoj—only for the bride to elope moments before the ceremony.

In an attempt to lift Laddu’s spirits, the group travels to Goa, where a valuable locket is stolen from a museum. The stolen item inadvertently ends up in their possession, drawing them into conflict with both the police and a gangster named Max, portrayed by actor Sunil.

With elements of comedy, friendship, and suspense, Mad Square promises an engaging watch for audiences on OTT.
