Dulquer Salmaan’s blockbuster heist thriller Lucky Bhaskar is reprising a similar success on the digital platform as well. After setting the cash registers ringing at the ticket windows during the Diwali festival, Lucky Bhaskar debuted on OTT giant Netflix two weeks ago. Just like how it attracted moviegoers during its theatrical run, the Venky Atluri directional turned out to be a huge success on Netflix as well.
Reportedly, Lucky Bhaskar recorded more than 17 Billion minutes on Netflix and continues to trend in the top spot globally. The film is currently trending at the No. 2 position from the past few days and emerged as a blockbuster with million of views. The solid theatrical success created huge hype for the film as family audiences took a liking for the storyline and the narration. The film grossed more than 100 Crores across all languages and turned out to be a double blockbuster.
Lucky Bhaskar is about a cash-strapped bank employee who exploits loopholes in the banking system and makes huge amount from stock market investment through dubious dealings. Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary played the lead roles. The commendable performances coupled with superlative screenplay and relatable dialogues helped the film achieve hit status.
