The police are tightening their noose in the case of YCP social media activists in AP who posted inappropriate posts on opposition leaders Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, Vangalapudi Anitha, other leaders and their family members.
The police, who have already arrested YCP social media activists Varra Ravinder Reddy, Inturi Ravikiran and some others, have issued look-out notices to some others on Tuesday based on the details they gave during the investigation.
The police are preparing to arrest the party’s social media department in-charge Sajjala Bhargav Reddy, who is responsible for the YCP social media posts. The police have formed special teams to arrest Bhargav Reddy, who has already gone into hiding. Search operations have been carried out in Hyderabad and Vijayawada as well as in several places.
At the same time, the Kadapa police have also issued look-out notices against Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy’s son, who has not fled abroad. Along with Bhargav Reddy, the police have issued lookout notices against Arjun Reddy, a key figure in the YSRCP social media department, and some others.
It is reported that they are being searched for in both the Telugu states and Bengaluru. The police are already arresting several YSRCP social media activists. They are making arrangements to prevent them from getting bail. Due to this, YSRCP social media activists are going into hiding.
Several criminal cases have already been registered against Bhargav Reddy in the state. Special teams have taken up search operations for the two based on the statement of Varra Ravinder Reddy. An SC and ST case has been registered in Pulivendula, Kadapa district, against Bhargav Reddy.
Based on the complaint filed by Hari, a Dalit from Simhadripuram mandal of YSR district, the police have registered a case against Bhargav Reddy and two others under non-bailable sections. Pulivendula town police officials said that a case has also been registered against Arjun Reddy, the state-level leader who runs the YSRCP social media, and Varra Ravinder Reddy, who fled from the police.
