Lokesh Confident of winning In Defamation case Against Sakshi

Minister Nara Lokesh has expressed confidence that he will win in the defamation case he filed against Sakshi newspaper for Rs 75 crore against publishing a false news story against him. After appearing in Visakhapatnam court in this case on Friday, speaking to the media he expressed anger that there has been no change in the blue media and they continue to spread false news.

He said that even a single allegation made against him could not be proved and that is why people rejected YSR Congress party in 2024.  He advised Sakshi to try to give facts. He warned that the government will not tolerate it if they continue spreading fake news. ‘We will continue to fight against fake news through legal battles’, he asserted.

He said that people have blessed his family and given six opportunities and they are using these the opportunities given by people to serve them. “We will always make use of opportunities given by people to serve them, but never misuses them for personnel benefits”, he added. He said that they will always work for the future of people and provide better living conditions for the people.

Lokesh made it clear that he will inaugurate TCS facility in Visakhapatnam within next 100 days and mega DSC will be announced soon. He expressed hope that the TCS facility will be a game changer in the development of Visakhapatnam and also the entire state. He assured that the privatization of Visakhapatnam steel will not happen as long as the NDA is in power.

He said that the red book has been opened against those who violated the laws and  action will be taken against the irregularities that happened in the universities during the previous government. On the other hand, the hearing of the defamation case filed by Lokesh has been postponed to the 15th of next month.
