BRS Working President KT Rama Rao has reacted strongly to Union Minister of State Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s phone tapping accusations against him and warned him to immediately withdraw those comments and extend an apology. Otherwise, he said he has to face a defamation suit. He lamented that Sanjay has crossed all limits by making baseless allegations on the phone tapping issue.
KTR lashed out that Bandi Sanjay has made it a habit to make irrelevant, vulgar and third-class allegations without minimum common sense and without knowing the facts. He alleged that he is speaking these vulgar words only for cheap publicity in politics and to attract media attention.
He deplored that Bandi Sanjay, who is a Union Minister, does not even have the minimum understanding, knowledge and common sense about the functioning and policies of the intelligence systems. He said that making such baseless allegations while holding a responsible position is proof of his ignorance and negligence.
KTR challenged Bandi Sanjay to prove even if there is even one percent truth in his allegations. He demanded that he immediately withdraw the allegations and publicly apologize. KTR said that he is sending a legal notice on the allegations made by Bandi Sanjay. He warned that if this demand is not heeded, he will take him to court after 48 hours.
However, Bandi Sanjay asserted that he is confined to his allegations. In a X post, he lamented that “#TwitterTillu should be ashamed to talk about legal notices after doing all the illegal things. You’re a coward who hides behind legal notices. You unsuccessfully tried to do it in the past. I won’t fall for your monkey tricks. Bring it on”.
“Ahead of Rakhi, you’re running away to avoid facing your own sister – whose phone was tapped, something she herself agreed. Let alone giving me 48 hours – your clock is ticking and your dark secrets will be exposed, leaving you with nowhere to hide. P.S: If only defending your illegal activities was as easy as begging BJP leaders for a party merger or seeking blessings from the PM to become CM…”, he added.
Meanwhile, KTR advised that “Bandi Sanjay should realize by now that working as a Union Minister is not as easy as carrying slippers to the Delhi bosses.” KTR alleged that Bandi Sanjay is getting worse every time he talks about the phone tapping issue and is trying to mislead the people with false propaganda. He criticized Bandi Sanjay, who has become a big joker in politics, for media headlines and cheap publicity, and is playing street dramas.
He said that Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, without knowing how sensitive the issue of phone tapping is and how legally strict it is, deliberately distorting the facts and making allegations without evidence is proof of his political degradation. “False accusations, market-based rhetoric, lies told for cheap publicity – all these are the politics that Bandi Sanjay has become accustomed to, and KTR sternly warned that such cheap accusations will not be tolerated in the future,” he added.
