KTR Walks Out of ACB Office After Dispute Over Legal Team Entry

High drama ensued at the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) office as BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) arrived for questioning in the Formula E-Race case. KTR, who was accompanied by his legal team, was informed by the police that only he would be allowed inside, and his legal team would not be permitted entry.

Expressing a lack of trust in the police, KTR insisted on having his lawyers accompany him. However, the police maintained that there were no court orders requiring the presence of legal representatives during the inquiry. In response, KTR demanded that the police provide evidence of any rule prohibiting the entry of legal teams, leading to a heated exchange between KTR’s team and the police.

After nearly 40 minutes of discussions, KTR chose to leave the ACB office without entering. Speaking to the media, he stated that he had submitted his written statement to the ASP outside the office, remarking that the police were crafting stories better than acclaimed filmmaker Rajamouli.

Following the incident, KTR proceeded to Telangana Bhavan, the BRS party office, where he is expected to address the media. Meanwhile, questions have emerged regarding whether the police will consider KTR’s departure as an absence from the inquiry.
