Alleging that it was Congress supreme leader Rahul Gandhi making BJP winning every election in the country, BRS Working President KT Rama Rao claimed that Rahul is the biggest activist for the BJP.
Reacting on the results of Delhi Assembly polls, he said that Congress party leaders are not in a position to go out among the people now, as if they do, the people will chase them away.
He said that Revanth Reddy also has no chance of moving outside without police security and alleged that if it was anyone other than Revanth Reddy due to the insults being hurled by the people, he would have committed suicide.
He alleged that CM Revanth had sent 450 policemen to a village in Kodangal for 140 acres of land. Should the poor not live in Telangana?, he asked. He said that Revanth Reddy would definitely demolish their houses and shops.
Describing Revanth Reddy as an `iron leg’ for the Congress, he said wherever he goes there Congress defeats miserably. He recalled that it was started from Maharashtra and now finished in Delhi. He is sure that the same trend will continue in the coming days also.
He recalled that KCR had earlier cautioned that if you vote for the Congress, there will be Ram Ram for the farmers, and as he warned, Ram Ram has become for the farmers.
Referring to several senior leaders leaving the BRS, the former minister said that there is no need to talk about opportunists who change parties for power. He said that the party ranks should work hard to make BRS party candidates win massively in the upcoming local bodies. KTR stated that all the cheaters have left the party and now there are only proven workers and leaders.
Though there are eight Congress MPs and another 8 BJP MPs from Telangana, KTR deplored that none of them were able to get anything for the state in the Union Budget. He wondered that why not a single Congress or BJP MP remained silent even though they said that the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy lift irrigation scheme would not be given national status.
