BRS Working President and former minister KT Rama Rao has accused that Hyderabad’s economy has collapsed due to the fear created by the Congress party, especially Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. KTR said that the people of the state are deeply angry at the anti-people policies followed by the Congress party for the last 22 months.
KTR called for the BRS Vijaya Yatra to be resumed from Jubilee Hills by-election, scheduled to be held very soon. Senior party leaders and public representatives attended the BRS preparatory meeting for the Jubilee Hills constituency by-election held under the chairmanship of KTR.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR expressed confidence that the BRS party will win a landslide victory in the Jubilee Hills constituency. He said that the people of the state are deeply angry at the anti-people policies followed by the Congress party for the last 22 months. KTR said that unlike the last ten years of his government’s rule, which made Hyderabad the economic engine of Telangana, the policies of the Congress party are completely collapsing the city, and the people of the city are noticing this.
KTR deplored that people feel that Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) must return to power again for Hyderabad to continue its development. KTR alleged that Hyderabad’s economy has collapsed due to the negative impact of Congress’s inefficient policies on all sectors. He said that all sections of society have suffered due to Congress’s inefficient policies.
On this occasion, senior party leaders discussed with KTR the strategies to be followed in the by-elections. KTR called on all party leaders to work together in this by-election and restart the Bharat Rashtra Samithi Vijaya Yatra from Jubilee Hills The by-election is needed due to the untimely death of three-time BRS MLA Maganti Gopinath,
KTR has already indicated that Gopinath’s wife Maganti Sunitha will be BRS candidate. While both Congress and BRS are in search of an influential candidate to be contested from here, KTR’s sister and former MLA Kavitha, who was recently suspended from BRS also said to be making moves to field a strong candidate on her behalf.
