BRS Working President and former minister KT Rama Rao said that it is not for us to win the upcoming elections, but a historic need for the Telangana society to make KCR the CM again. He said that the responsibility of repairing the damage done to the state lies with the Telangana society. KTR called for people to come to Warangal on April 27th.
Sriram Reddy and leaders of various parties joined the BRS party from Attapur division under the chairmanship of Rajendra Nagar in-charge Patolla Karthik Reddy at Telangana Bhavan. KTR invited all of them to join the party with pink scarves. He recalled KCR has been running welfare and development like a team for ten years.
“The loss we suffered in the last elections was less.. but the loss to the Telangana society was greater due to our defeat. This is the literal truth and reality”, he said. He asserted that as far as Telangana is concerned, both Congress and BJP are enemies.
“The pink flag that took Telangana’s self-respect to the sky and achieved its statehood. Our leader is KCR. No one can erase this record. If anyone thinks that they will erase KCR’s legacy, it is their ignorance. There is no need to curse us by blaming Revanth Reddy”, he added.
KTR suggested that a discussion should be held on who loves Telangana, which will be beneficial for farmers, poor, students and women. He accused that the BJP has done nothing except inciting religious madness in the country. He recalled that under BJP’s regime India is falling behind in various fields in the world rankings.
Just as Telangana went backward under Revanth’s leadership, he deplored that the country will go backward under Modi’s leadership. He lamented that the BJP has done nothing except negative politics. “If we give a rupee to the center, we get 45 paise back. Our Telangana is also one of the states that are helping this country”, he said.
KTR warned that religious madness is not good and the society should not be divided. He expressed concern that Hindus who were doing well till 2014 are now in danger. Why are they now creating a new Panchayat, which has not existed since independence?, he asked.
