KTR says L&T’s Rejection of NDSA Report on Medigadda Barrage A slap on Both Congress And BJP Governments

BRS Working President KT Rama Rao said that the world-renowned construction company L&T’s complete rejection of the report given by the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) on the Medigadda Barrage without conducting minimum tests at the field level is like a complete slap in the face to the Congress government in the state and the BJP government at the center.

Starting from the preliminary report given within hours during the assembly elections, to the final report given recently, which was spread over a year and a half, he said that L&T found there are discrepancies and inconsistencies at every step, which has exposed the weakness of the report. As a result, he said that now it is proven the entire report given without conducting minimum tests as a hoax.

KTR said that the fact that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the state government are using such a useless report and claiming that the NDSA report is their standard is a testament to their incompetence, incompetence and bankrupt policies. He accused that CM Revanth committed an unforgivable sin by ignoring the world’s largest lift irrigation project, Kaleshwaram, with the political motive of making KCR famous.

He deplored that already, due to the Chief Minister’s mismanagement, crops in lakhs of acres in the state have dried up in the past year and a half and more than 500 farmers have committed suicide. KTR was furious that the diaphragm wall in the Polavaram project was quickly restored even after it was washed away, and in the case of Medigadda, the entire project has been put into cold storage for 18 months, forgetting that it was the most evil.

He lamented that both Congress and BJP, which conspired to smear BRS during the assembly elections, have recently opened a new drama in the name of the final report with their plots to damage the BRS silver jubilee celebration. He demanded that the government and NDSA stop smearing the project, which was built without any compromise at every step, from project plans to construction quality, and at least now answer the objections of L&T.

In the wake of the fact that all the arguments of NDSA have been revealed to be a bunch of mistakes, he said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who is ignoring this by using it as a lame excuse, should unconditionally apologize to the farmers of the state.
