KTR predicts By-Elections In Next six Months

BRS Working President KT Rama Rao predicted that by-elections will be held in the state in the next six months. He expressed confidence that Pocharam Srinivas Reddy will definitely lose in Banswada. KTR said that if the Speaker does not take a decision, they will go to the Supreme Court again and continue the legal battle until Pocharam loses his MLA post.

Several leaders and hundreds of activists of the Congress party from Banswada constituency joined the BRS party at KCR’s residence in Erravalli. Speaking on the occasion, KTR clarified that the Supreme Court has given clear instructions on the defections that have taken place in Telangana state and that by-elections will be held in the next six months no matter how many efforts are made by the Speaker or the defectors.

KTR deplored that after a long political career, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy is in a pitiful state where he cannot say which party he belongs to, but every activist in BRS can proudly say that he is in the party that brought Telangana.

He deplored that the number one state in India was handed over to the Congress on a platter, but the current government has completely failed to implement the promises made and the welfare and development programs that existed in the past. He demanded that the Chief Minister take responsibility for this and apologize to the people and directly say that they are not able to administer and cannot implement all the programs.

KTR criticized the Congress party for having been completely opposed by the people in just 21 months of coming to power. While the failure of promises and betrayal are one reason, he said that the way Chief Minister Revanth Reddy spoke and acted is another main reason. He accused CM Revanth Reddy of constantly talking about KCR’s name without focusing on the administration.

He alleged that while the previous government borrowed Rs. 20,000  crores per year, this government is borrowing Rs. 20,000 crores per month. He said that the central government has made it clear in Parliament that the previous government had incurred a debt of only Rs. 2.80 lakh crore. However, he criticized that the Revanth Reddy government had incurred a debt of more than Rs. 2.20 lakh crore in these 21 months and had not undertaken a single welfare scheme or development program with that debt.
