Kriti Sanon Becomes First Indian Voice at World Health Summit

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first Indian actor to address the prestigious World Health Summit 2025 held in Berlin. Taking the global stage, Kriti underscored the importance of prioritizing women’s health, noting that while nearly half of the world’s population comprises women, there is still a severe lack of adequate funding for their medical care. She urged world leaders and organizations to invest more in women’s healthcare and gender equality, emphasizing that the time for action is now.

During her address, Kriti highlighted that women’s health is not an issue to be taken lightly but a vital pillar for the future of humanity. She reaffirmed that empowering women through better healthcare access and equal opportunities would lead to a healthier, stronger world. It is worth mentioning that in September 2025, Kriti was appointed as the Gender Equality Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) India, further strengthening her advocacy for women’s rights and well-being.

On the film front, Kriti Sanon is gearing up for the release of her upcoming romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein, in which she stars opposite Tamil actor Dhanush. The film is slated to release on November 28. Additionally, she is set to appear alongside Shahid Kapoor in Cocktail 2, which is expected to hit theatres next year.
