Kishan Reddy slams Revanth Reddy plot To Avoid 42% BC Reservations

Union Minister and State BJP President G Kishan Reddy has alleged that the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy participation in Delhi’s dharn under the guise of BC organizations at Jantar Mantar in the name of BC reservations is an attempt to evade the implementation of 42 percent reservations.

He said that what they have been saying since before that Revanth Reddy is not sincere in providing BC reservations and it has now been proven once again. He made it clear that Revanth Reddy, who sees BCs as just a vote bank, will not develop them unless he thinks of using them for a long time.

How can you now make a pretext against the Center after promising to increase BC reservations to 42 percent? If the increase in BC reservations is not within your purview, how did you promise?, he asked. He said that Revanth Reddy is playing this drama because he does not want to increase BC reservations, and called Revanth Reddy a real BC traitor.

He accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of playing these dramas behind Revanth Reddy’s back. He expressed his anger that the BCs have not yet forgotten the fact that Rahul Gandhi could not digest that a BC person was the Prime Minister and he rudely criticized Narendra Modi.

Kishan Reddy reminded that Rahul Gandhi had openly expressed his opposition to BCs by saying that all those with the surname Modi are thieves. He said that the Congress has been blocking BC reservations since before, and criticized that even the first Prime Minister Nehru blocked BC reservations and Indira Gandhi also suppressed the implementation of BC reservations.

He said that the then Prime Minister VP Singh tried to implement the recommendations of the Mandal Commission, Rajiv Gandhi strongly opposed it in the Parliament. Kishan Reddy expressed his anger that Rahul Gandhi has filled the BC opposition with his legacy and that Rahul Gandhi is playing dramas by putting Revanth Reddy in front to block BC reservations in the state.

Stating that Revanth Reddy has not implemented any of the promises made to the BCs in Kamareddy, he said in the BC declaration it promised to increase BC reservations within 6 months of coming to power, but later forgot about it.

He clarified that the 42 percent BC reservation bill was passed due to severe pressure from the people, especially from the BCs, and it was not for the welfare of the BCs.  He said that Rs. 20,000 crores per year will be spent for the welfare of the BCs in five years, but the promises made in both the budgets presented by the Congress have not been implemented.
