Union Minister and state BJP chief G. Kishan Reddy has predicted that the results of present MLC elections will be the verdict of the Revanth Reddy-led Congress government in the state.
Participating in the MLC poll campaign in Medak, he said that only BJP is contesting elections from Two teachers and One Graduate constituencies, while both BRS and Congress have no courage in these elections. Only Congress contested in one graduate constituency.
He alleged that both the parties are playing dramas behind the scenes. Though Revanth Reddy came to power saying that he would bring change in the state, Kishan Reddy lamented that he failed miserably in all sectors. He said that there is no unity among the ministers.
He said that the MLC elections will set the direction for the future politics of Telangana. He alleged that there is strong opposition from all quarters towards the Congress government. He questioned why not a single promise given by Revanth is being implemented? He alleged that the Revanth government remained silent on its promises to fill 2 lakh jobs and provide unemployment benefits to the remaining youth.
The BJP leader also said that Revan Reddy had forgotten his promise to give Rs 12 lakh to every Dalit family. They expressed concern that the financial situation in the state of Telangana was bankrupt. He questioned why Revanth was not talking about the five DAs to be given to employees? Moreover, he deplored promised benefits that were not being given to retired employees.
Kishan Reddy is confident that the BJP would come to power in the coming days in accordance with the aspirations of the people of Telangana. He emphasized that development is happening rapidly wherever BJP governments are present and accused Congress-ruled states of rampant corruption.
He said that good governance takes place in states with double engine governments. If good governance is to be achieved in Telangana, he asserted that a double engine government should be formed.
