Corporation chairman, ZP chairman, DCCB, DCMS presidents, and party constituency in-charges were invited.
Last time he visited the party office on June 2 last year attending Telangana formation day celebrations. BRS will complete 24 years on April 27. The party is ready for its silver jubilee in the middle of the year. On this occasion, KCR is likely to guide the party leaders on the party’s future activities. He is mainly said to be focusing on preparing the party for a struggle against anti-people policies of the Congress government in the state.
Along with party membership registration, BRS chief KCR has the opportunity to clarify the organizational committees. It is a tradition to hold a BRS plenary on April 27 to commemorate the party’s formation day. The plenary was not held last year due to the Lok Sabha elections.
A decision on holding a plenary or a public meeting this year is likely to be announced in the meeting. Although KCR initially thought of holding a public meeting at the end of February, there is an opinion in the party that it is not necessary in the current circumstances.
KCR will give directions to the leaders on the performance of the Congress government in the state, putting pressure on the government to implement its promises, and future actions. BRS executive president KTR said that the main discussion will be on the anti-people policies and failures of the Congress government. He said that a comprehensive discussion will be held on the actions to be taken by the pink ranks to expose the failures of the government.
As the Congress government has been in power for 15 months in the state, KCR is expected to launch protests against the shortcomings of Revanth Reddy’s administration. KCR will give directions to the leaders on the government’s performance, pressure on the government to implement the promises, and future actions. The main discussion will be on the anti-people policies and failures of the Congress government.
KCR had previously made it clear to the party leaders that he would give the Congress government a year’s time. Now that that time has expired, a new course of action will be finalized to effectively play the role of the opposition. As part of that, KCR will finalize a political action plan to increase pressure for the implementation of the promises made by the government.
